Order online from home, then grab everything in one quick stop.

Shop the Lenexa Pickup collection
Head to our Lenexa Pickup collection. Each grain lists the pickup date right in its product options.

Order early
Preorders stay open right up until pickup, but we prep limited quantities. Ordering early is the best way to make sure your items are set aside.

Choose “Pick up” at checkout
In the Delivery section at checkout, choose “Pick up” instead of “Ship.” There’s no shipping cost.

Come see us on your Saturday date, 9–11am
The pickup date is shown in the product option you select. You’ll get a confirmation email with the address, date, and window, plus a reminder email Friday afternoon before pickup.
Don’t see any grains in the collection? That means the next pickup date isn’t set yet. Check back soon, and once it’s official, the grain products will appear with the date in their options.

You’re welcome to shop in the store while you’re here, but we can’t promise availability once prepped quantities run out.

Local pickup FAQ
Where can I buy wheat berries in Kansas City?
Right here in Lenexa! Preorder Unsifted® wheat berries, whole grain blends, and recipe cards from our Lenexa Pickup collection, then pick them up at our storefront on our monthly pickup Saturday. You’ll mill your own fresh flour at home, with no shipping cost.
When is the next local pickup?
We host local pickup one Saturday a month, from 9 to 11am. The next date is always listed at the top of this page and in the product options of each grain in our Lenexa Pickup collection. If you don’t see any grain products there, the next date isn’t set yet, so please check back soon. Want a heads-up? Join the Unsifted® Local Pickup Crew to get the next pickup date, order-early reminders, and a reminder before pickup by email or text.
Will I get a reminder before pickup?
Yes! We send a reminder email Friday afternoon before pickup. Orders placed after that won’t get a reminder, but if your order is confirmed, please still come by on Saturday from 9 to 11am. Your order confirmation email has all the details.
Where is the pickup location?
Our Lenexa storefront is at 8607 Quivira Rd, Lenexa, KS 66215. After you place your order, you’ll get a confirmation email with the address, date, and pickup window, so please read it carefully so you don’t miss your window.
Where should I go when I arrive?
Look for the Unsifted A-frame sign in the north corner of the parking lot. Park in any open space.
What should I bring?
Just your name or order number. We’ll have your order ready for you.
Is the store open every day?
No. Our storefront is only open on our monthly pickup Saturday, from 9 to 11am. All pickup orders are placed online as preorders.
Do I have to preorder?
Yes. Preorders stay open online right up until the pickup event, but we prep limited quantities for each pickup. Ordering early is the best way to make sure your items are set aside, because it helps us know how much to prep.
What products can I pick up?
Our grains (wheat berries and whole grain blends) and our recipe cards are available for local pickup with a preorder. Grain mills, our Starter Kit, and Ankarsrum mixers aren’t available for pickup right now.
Are grain mills available for pickup?
Not right now. Our WonderMill® grain mill and our Starter Kit (which includes the mill) are sold out, and like everything for pickup, mills are preorder only. If a mill shows as available in our Lenexa Pickup collection, you’re welcome to order it ahead, and you can pick it up once pickup is available for it again.
Can I buy an Ankarsrum mixer in store?
No. Ankarsrum mixers and attachments aren’t sold at pickup. We do have an Ankarsrum on display, plus a color wheel, so you can see it in person and pick your favorite color. Then just order it online with shipping, separately from your pickup order.
Can I shop at the store during pickup?
You’re welcome to come shop in the store during the pickup window! We do our best to keep extra products on hand for same-day shoppers, but we can’t promise availability once prepped quantities run out. Preordering online is the best way to make sure your items are set aside.
Is there a discount for local pickup?
There isn’t an additional discount, but there’s no shipping cost when you choose “Pick up” at checkout. Grain is heavy, so skipping shipping can be a real savings on grain orders.
What happens if I miss my pickup window?
If you can’t make it for any reason, please email us at info@unsifted.com at least 24 hours before the pickup time. Orders that aren’t picked up during the 2-hour window are cancelled, and a $5 restocking fee is applied.
Can someone else pick up my order?
Yes! Just let us know ahead of time. Add their name to your order notes before you place your order, or email info@unsifted.com with their name, your order number, and the pickup date. That way, we can be sure your order goes to the right person.
What if the pickup window doesn’t work for me, or I need my order sooner?
No problem. Please choose regular shipping from our normal product pages instead of local pickup. That’s also the best option if you need grain or other products earlier in the month.
Why can’t I select local pickup at checkout?
If you don’t see “Pick up” at checkout, make sure you’re ordering from our Lenexa Pickup collection. Our normal product pages don’t include a local pickup option. If your cart has an Ankarsrum mixer or attachments, remove them and order those separately with shipping. Still stuck? Email info@unsifted.com and we’ll help.
I have a subscription. Can I pick it up instead?
Subscriptions can’t be set to local pickup, and they don’t switch to pickup automatically. Instead, place a Lenexa Pickup preorder for the products you want, then skip your next subscription shipment. That simply pushes your subscription out while you pick up in store.
Will you have samples at the store?
Not at this time. We aren’t planning to offer samples of baked goods or fresh milled flour.
