Unsifted Local Pickup
We are excited to offer a monthly local pickup option for our customers in the Kansas City area as-of November 23, 2024 in Lenexa, Kansas.
Here’s how it works:
- From the top menu at unsifted.com, click "Shop" and then select "Lenexa Pickup" from the drop-down menu
- Select the products you want to purchase and add to cart
- At checkout, select "Pickup in store" from the delivery options
After placing your order, you'll receive a confirmation email with the pickup location address, date, and time window. Please make sure to review this information carefully to avoid missing your pickup window.
Local pickup is a great way to save on shipping by picking your order up directly from our storefront! Local pickups will be available once a month, with a 2-hour pickup window. Orders must be placed at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup window to ensure product availability.
LOCAL PICKUP FAQ
When is the December Pickup? The December pickup is scheduled for December 21, 2024 from 9:00-11:00am.
Where do I go to pickup my order? After placing your order, you'll receive a confirmation email with the pickup location address, date, and time window. Please make sure to review this information carefully to avoid missing your pickup window.
Where should I go when I arrive? Look for the Unsifted logo on the window in the North corner of the parking lot. Park anywhere with an open space.
Are all products available for Local Pickup? No. The Ankarsrum mixer and any Ankarsrum attachments are not available for local pickup at this time. Grains, the WonderMill, our Starter Kit, and our recipe cards are all available for local pickup.
Can I shop at the store? You are welcome to come shop in the store during local pickup windows, but we cannot guarantee product availability unless an order was placed at least 48 hours in advance of the pickup with "local pickup" selected. We will do our best to keep inventory available for same-day shoppers.
What happens if I miss my pickup window? If you are unable to pickup your order for any reason, please e-mail us at info@unsifted.com at least 24 hours ahead of the pickup time. If an order isn’t collected during the designated 2-hour window, the order will be cancelled and a $5 restocking fee will be applied.
Can I send someone else to pickup my order? Yes, you can send someone else to pickup your order if you let us know ahead of time. If someone else is coming to pickup your order, please put their name in your order notes before placing your order, or email us at info@unsifted.com with their name, your order number, and the pickup date. That way we can be sure to give your order to the correct person.
What should I do if the pickup window doesn't work for me? If you are unavailable during the local pickup window, and if you don't have anyone who can pickup for you, please do not select local pickup during checkout.
What if I need to get my order sooner than the pickup window? If you need grain or other products earlier in the month than the scheduled pickup day, please select the normal shipping option from our regular product pages. We plan to be able to support more pickup days in the future as we grow our team, but are limited right now due to staffing.
What if my order isn't letting me select local pickup? Be sure that you have selected "Lenexa Pickup" from the "SHOP" menu; our normal product pages will not have a local pickup option. If you are ordering an Ankarsrum or Ankarsrum attachments, you will also not be able to select local pickup. Please order Ankarsrum products separately from local pickup orders and try again. If you still run into issues, please email info@unsifted.com for assistance.
What if I'm on a subscription, how can I pickup? We are still working to integrate our subscription services with local pickup. If you are currently on a subscription but want to pickup in store, please place a "Lenexa Pickup Preorder" for the products you would like to pickup. Then, update your subscription to skip the next shipment. This will essentially push out your subscription and allow you to pickup in store. Please note: subscriptions do NOT automatically push to in store pickup; you must order through the "Lenexa Pickup" product page.
Will you have samples at the store? No, at this time we are not planning to have samples of any baked goods.
